This hand painted ceramic TARDIS took more than 80 hours of detailing. The image is first drawn by hand and than painted over with 3 coats using ceramics glaze (to compound the color). A special double firing process was used in an attempt to achieve a depth of color and cleaner lines.
The 'front' includes the TARDIS doors; each side is an interpretation of various enemies of the Doctor (from Doctor Who) encased in mural panels. Under the TARDIS can be seen the time vortex which bleeds into the background of the murals for the enemy panels.
